My 2 x Great grandparents Henry Thomas Dean who was a cabinet maker by trade and died during WWI in 1914 & Mary Ann Dean lived in 6 Manchester Buildings Menotti street Bethnal Green in 1911, with 3 of their 8 children.
Unfortunately 5 children died in infancy. The houses were originally weavers houses as you can see by the large first floor windows. The street was previously called Manchester Street up until 1864. These houses were cleared during the 1950s.
A tiny part of the street still remains.
